Lamor and Oman’s Environment Authority hosting an Industrial Pollution Workshop
In January 2025, Lamor Middle East in collaboration with the Environment Authority (EA) of Oman, organized a two-day workshop that brought together key stakeholders to address pressing environmental challenges in Oman. Held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdullah Al Amri, Chairman of the EA, the event fostered collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants from various sectors, aiming to enhance environmental practices and solutions across the nation.
The workshop was attended by a wide range of participants. These included representatives from government ministries and authorities, MEMAC, Oman Court, oil and gas companies, ports, the Royal Oman Police, Civil Defense, Customs, the Coast Guard, and the media. This diverse group highlighted the workshop’s inclusive approach to tackling environmental concerns by engaging experts from different sectors.
The event began with opening remarks to welcome participants and introduce the workshop's themes and speakers. The two-day program focused on key environmental issues in Oman, encouraging the exchange of ideas and solutions to improve protection and sustainability.
The workshop was a success, giving participants valuable insights and encouraging shared responsibility for Oman’s environment. It highlighted the importance of teamwork in tackling the region's environmental challenges.
