Lamor Peru at field workshop at Paracas Port
Lamor Peru held a field workshop in Paracas Port as part of the ISPS annual forum held in Paracas Bay. Over 120 attendees from ports, terminals, and oil facilities participated last week.
Paracas Bay is a natural harbor located on the southern coast of Peru, known for its rich biodiversity, historical significance, and proximity to the Paracas National Reserve. Preserving Paracas Bay from oil spills is vital because it is a crucial ecological area, home to diverse marine life, and essential for the economic well-being of local communities.
Lamor was also invited to give a speech on lessons learned from oil spills in global scenarios. The presentation focused on the Mauritius oil spill event in 2020.
