Training day for PetroTal in Peru

PetroTal, the largest oil producer in Peru operating Lot 95 in Puinahua, Requena, Loreto has been supported by Lamor in all aspects of the Preparedness, Prevention and 1st-2nd Oil Spill Program, which has been developed and executed for more than six years.
As part of the preparedness plan, Lamor recently conducted a training day at PetroTal's facilities, where 25 local participants took part in specialized spill response training, gaining firsthand knowledge of the emergency response mechanisms we use. During the session, we delivered a training program for responding to oil spills in rivers.
This experience enhances the participants skills and empowers them to share knowledge with their communities, helping both authorities and residents stay informed and prepared.
Through this training, we enhance the strategic and tactical capabilities of PetroTal’s emergency response team, reinforcing their continuous commitment to improvement and leadership in oil spill emergency response.
This is another example of how proud we are at Lamor to contribute to keeping the world clean, as well as protecting the Amazon rainforest in Peru and other countries in the South America region.
