Assistant Engineer - Production

Lamor is looking for an Assistant Engineer - Production to join our Lamor India team.

Being a key member of the production team, means that your main duties will be to manage, plan, and complete ongoing projects within the allotted time frames and making sure that the final products satisfy the specific Lamor Global Quality Standards.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Support production workflows, including inspections.
  • Oversee supplier manufacturing for quality and safety.
  • Coordinate material transport between Lamor India and suppliers.
  • Assist with inventory management and ISO compliance.
  • Help create purchase orders and develop product specifications.
  • Conduct market surveys to track price trends.
  • Maintain data integrity in Lean systems.
  • Identify and report unsafe practices, and follow up with vendors for timely deliveries.
  • Contribute to new product development initiatives.

You report to the hiring Manager, Sasthu Rajamanickam, Senior Production Manager at Lamor India

Employment type: full-time.
Preferred employment start date: 1st June 2024

Location: Lamor India, Navi Mumbai

As a person, the ideal candidate would have:

  • B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 – 7 Years of experience in relevant field.
  • Strong data analysis skills and expertise in Microsoft 356 tools
  • Understanding of technical blueprints and schematics
  • Knowledge of quality control standards
