Service Engineer

In this role, you will focus on maintaining and repairing our rental equipment for oil spill response. You will frequently visit customers to install, commission, and service equipment. Additionally, you will contribute to building our service division, workshop, and warehouse.

You have experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems such as pumps, power packs, and skimmers. Experience in oil spill prevention or a related field is a big plus. Job responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and commissioning of machines in the workshop and onsite at customer locations.
• (Co-)build the service department and workshop.
• Provide training to customers on the operational use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain communication with key stakeholders such as project teams and customers.
• Inspect (rental) machines and systems, including administration, certificates, and logbooks.

Job requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a mechanic, service engineer, or in a similar role.
• Self-starter who enjoys working independently and building a team.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• VCA-VOL certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Willingness to travel up to 50-70 days per year within Europe (mostly short trips of 3-4 days).
