The Harbo Boom is an oil spill first response system developed to immediately stop the spread of oil. It is a lightweight boom that can be deployed by 1-2 people in as little as 2 minutes as it requires no special equipment.

Each Harbo Boom cassette includes 50 feet of boom, end connectors so multiple sections can be joined together, handles, a plastic tarp used for deployment on rough shorelines and a plastic bag for disposal.

Instead of waiting for oil spill responders to arrive and relying on heavy equipment, our system can be available onsite or easily transported for rapid deployment and prevention.

Our design is the lightest oil containment option in the world. It's cassette based and can be opened without tools.
